This was excellent made just as written. Even my elderly mother who doesn't like much these days enjoyed it. Thanks!

Chicken Potpie

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
I thought this was an excellent recipe, however the next time I make it I am going to cut the flour. I thought 1 Cup was a lot. I added 1/2 tsp celery seed and 3/4 tsp poultry seasoning. It really did have a lot of good flavor; I made one pie and froze the rest of the filling to be used another time.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2011
I've made this salad for years. Many years ago when my mother was ill and I was trying to coax her to eat, I made this salad because it was sweet and had lots of flavor and she asked for it time and time again. For a splash of color, I will sometime throw in craisins in place of or as well as the raisins.

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
This cake is fabulous! Following some of the suggestions, I used 1/2 C of oil and I used 1 C strong hot coffee. Oh, and I lost my head and added a whole bag of chocolate chips. This recipe is a keeper!

Green Chile Frittata

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I love this recipe. I'll pour it into cupcake tins coated with cooking spray and reduce the cooking time a bit. I'll also often used 1/2 C pepper jack and 1/2 C cheddar - and when I'm really craving spice I'll toss a tablespoon or so of crushed red peppers. You can really add just about any veggie or cooked meat to it, but I've noticed some veggies might make it a little too moist.

Moroccan Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
This is such a wonderful recipe. I loved it made just as it is, however it has a lot of potential as a start for some very delicious meals. I can't wait to try it as a base for lamb stew.
