Sausage Barley Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
Absolutely a wonderful winter soup. I used hot Italian sausage and it was even better to eat the next day.

Best Marinara

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
I like this recipe I just substituted celery salt and used whole canned tomatoes and used a hand blender to make it the consistency I liked. Seasonings to me and family were right on target.

Turned out great! Used flour and corn tortillas. I did put taco seasoning in the meat mixture. Definately a keeper.

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
I used my own homemade dry crumbs that I already seasoned with Italian Spices and used the hint to put them on a rack. I added the Parmesan Cheese and a some granulated garlic. Very moist in the middle and crunchy on outside. Did have to cook longer because I had tripled the number of servings. Will cook them again.

Best Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
I tried a little bit of everyones suggestions on this recipe and the fans went wild. The ginger added something my others attempts lacked. I like this variation.

Aunt Teresa's Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
I used this recipe as a "base" and added and took away a few things. I put onion, carrots sprinkled with garlic on bottom of pan. Put 3 legs, 3 thighs and 3 wings sprinkled with my chicken seasoning on top. Mixed can of cream of celery and mushroom soup with milk and a little garlic salt. Baked for 1-1/2 hrs. Removed chicken from pan. Added most of sauce to pan that had about 1/2 lb. cooked elbows and let simmer to reduce. Added 2 tbsp. sour cream and served wit the reserved sauce. It was wonderful and flavorful.

Corn Tortilla Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
I baked these instead of frying. I sprayed with Pam. They tasted just like a homemade tortilla chip should. Then I sprayed another batch and put some seasoned salt and they tasted like a commercial brand.

Bananas Foster Chimichangas

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
Made these for hubby and I and we both loved it. I just folded them over like in the pic. I added a little ice cream on the side and decorated with a little stream of chocolate and strawberry syrup. Topped with a cherry. I did use a brown sugar substitute but you couldn't tell. Hubby does not like anything diet, but he didn't know the difference. Will be making this again.

Chicken Confetti

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
I made this recipe using my own "homemade, canned" tomatoes. They were almost identical to the recipe. It was excellent tasting.
