Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Best chocolate chip cookie I have found yet!!! I was able to make 3.5 dz. of small cookies! I used chocolate and mint chips, amazing!!! This is a keeper! Wouldn't change a thing!

Garlic Parmesan Orzo

Good. But too much orzo... a cupto 1.5 cups would have been better. It was pretty dry. Maybe they meant to say 2 cups "cooked" Otherwise very good. Wished I would have read a few more reviews before cooking!

Hearty Chicken Tortilla Soup

EXCELLENT! I used Rotel tomatoes instead of salsa, added a can of rinsed black beans, added some onion and lemon juice! Great... also when I roast a whole chicken I always make a soup with the left overs. That what I did here, boiled the bones to make my broth, added onion and celery, and used the left over chicken for the soup! It was fantastic!!! A keeper!

Amish White Bread

I give it 4 because I would have liked some extra instructions that would be helpful to the first time bread baker, me! Other than that I think it was great! I couldn't wait to try it so I sliced off an end and put butter on it! VERY GOOD! I am eager to try again, maybe try the cinnamon bread. This is a keeper!

Strawberry Jam

I thought it was great. I read the reviews and I used 2 and 3/4 cups of sugar. I think it depends on peoples tastes so I recommend that you start with 2 cups and taste it and add more sugar until you get to your perfect taste. My jam came out a little thin but I think I didn't boil it a a consistant temp. for long enough. I also have a new stove that I am still getting used to cooking with :) Enjoy!!!
