Roasted Red Pepper and Crab Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
This recipe was really great!! When i make it again i think I will not add the milk till the potatoes are done so it doesnt get that curdled lool but after i used the immersible it looked fine. I also added some extra heat but it really was fantastic!!

Pork Tenderloin with Apples

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
This recipe was fantastic. My husband was sceptical but even he said it was awesome. I made it exactly like it is written except i added some sauted sweet onion to the apple sauce and instead of thickening it with cornstarch i just reduced the mixture by cooking it longer and the flavors were really intense and the pork itself was very juicy and tender. Really very good.

Indian Saffron Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
This dish was really wonderful. I took the advise of some of the other reviewers and steeped the saffron threads in white wine then used chicken stock for the rest of the liquid and my husband and I really loved it. We decided that if you added some fresh keilbasa or pork (something that would let off a little fat) it could be a savory main dish

We were looking for a recipe to use up some fresh cilantro and we came across this one. We only added a little garlic but otherwise stuck to the recipe and it was very good!!!

Roasted Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
I have to tell you that this recipe was one I have been looking for! I have a bunch of friends that are always giving me summer vegetables and I never know what to do with them! This was perfect. I had to change it up just a little because 425 degrees for the first round of veggies for 30 minutes was a bit long so I just scaled it back to 400 for 20 minutes and it was perfect. You may also find as others did that you can use any veggies in this as long as you go from hardest to softest. I put it with brown rice and I added nutmeg and paprika to the spices -- yum!!!! good stuff!!

Not that this recipe needs rating again but I want to say thanks for putting it on the site! It was fantastic! I have tried Lasagna before but it did not taste as authentic as this. Very good!

Pioneer Cut Dumplings from the 1800's

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
These are very very good dumplings and very easy to make. The only changes I made was adding a little more (maybe a tablespoon) liquid and if you are making dumplings - not pasta- drop them in right after cutting them and they will be tender

Chicken Paprikash I

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
I have been looking for a good Paprikash recipe for a long time and I must say this one is it! It reminded me of the one my Mom made as a kid. I did add ALOT more hungarian Paprika (about 1/4 cup in all) but that really was the only change I made. My kids loved it to!!
