Blueberry Lemon Walnut Bread

A good bread. A little dense but with good lemon flavor. I used dried lemon zest and skipped the glaze, since the bread would not be served immediately.

Manicotti Italian Casserole

I added a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic (leaving out some of the spaghetti sauce). Very good and different. Defintely put the pepperoni beneath the layer of cheese, to keep it moist.

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge

Very smooth and creamy. I added 1/4 tsp salt per another reviewer's suggestion but I think I'll leave it out next time. Very simple yet tastes authentic.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Yummy. I made minimum changes, mostly out of necessity. But mostly I made it as is, and it was a satisfying meal. I dredged the patties in flour before frying them. I didn't have seasoned salt, so I used plain salt in the meat and omitted it in the gravy. No sherry, so I tried the hint of replacing with homemade vanilla extract. I doubled the gravy (but didn't double the extract).

Zucchini Brownies

These were very good and a big hit with a vegetarian friend. Just a note, if using frozen zucchini defrost it and drain most of the water. Mine was still pretty wet, causing the cook time to run long. There is NO NEED to add eggs or make other changes.

Hot Dog a la Potato

Good meal for a night in with the kids. After adding the cheese, rather than turning the oven off I broiled them for 5 minutes. They were nicely brown and toasty.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

I only made two slight changes and we enjoyed the meal. I used pork chops, cooking themlong enough to ensure they were done. I also added garlic powder to the flour. Otherwise, the recipe was good as is.

Weeknight Pork Chops

Wew liked this a lot. It has a sweetness, which my husbdan loves, and a bit of tartness from the mustard, which I love. The only addition I did was to salt and pepper ther pork chops before frying.

The flavor was very enjoyable. Based upon others' concerns, I went ahead and doubled the broth mixture. Make sure everything is submerged in the liquid, or it won't cook.
