This was a simple "basic" recipe. I tasted it and knew my family would like it too. Thanks, Jackie for sharing it. When I was ready to "up the ante" I added 1/4 c. sweet pickle relish, 3 finely minced boiled eggs, and 2 T. salad dressing. Also, I didn't have the pre-cut blanched almonds, so I diced natural almonds and toasted them in a pan (with EVOO on the bottom). It was SO good! P. S. A friend of mine had a deli. On his chicken salad sandwiches he added a thin slice of tomato and Iceburg lettuce and toasted the bread. This too is delicious!
