HELP!! okay, after seeing all the reviews i had to try this. it was my first time and i think it went pretty smooth. although i ran into a little problem, i prepared everything according to what the directions said except they dont really have sour cream where im currently living and i did some research and substituted it with plain yogurt. im not sure if that caused the problem. i put it in the oven at 2pm and turned off the oven at 3. let it sit in there for an hour till it cooled to room temp, i then moved it into the Air conditioned room since im in the dessert and its hot here, to cool for an additional 2hrs, i had no cracks but the center was still a bit wiggly so i put it in the fridge for another 2hrs. STILL wiggly! its 11pm now and the cake has been in the freezer for an hr and the center is still not firm. what went wrong? is it fixable? help :( im still giving this 5 stars because i feel the problem was caused by me not the recipe. UPDATE: ok after 8 hrs it finally firmed up. no cracks no sinks just beautiful creamy heaven. the first piece i sliced had a bite gone before i even got the topping on it. i should have made two. NOTE: make sure you leave plenty of time for it to rest and firm up, overnight if possible.
