Mexican Goulash

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
This was a quick and easy dish, just what I was looking for tonight. I made one change: instead of salsa and Velveeta, I added 3/4 of a jar of 23oz Tostito's queso dip. My 13 month old ate it up!

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This was a very simple yummy recipe. I had never baked anything from scratch before these and my family loved them! I did add a tad more salt and used butter rather than shortening.

Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
This recipe was simple, but was lacking some meat (for my tastes anyway). I will probably make this again, but I will use real eggs and some sausage.

Greek Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
Wonderful salad! Like others, I used olive oil instead of the Crisco and I definitely recommend the Kalamata olives. These really give it a great flavor.

Squash Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
This was a good recipe! Like others mentioned, I did not seed the squash as they pureed fine. I also added garlic, crumbled bacon, and chicken broth instead of some of the water. It was a bit cheesy for my husband, but I don't think I added as much squash as it calls for. All in all, it was great and I will be keeping this recipe on hand

Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
This is my go to recipe for left over chicken and it is awesome! I changed a few things to better suit my family. I left out the water chestnuts because I just don't like them and put in celery for crunch. I also use red grapes since I don't care for green. Turns out super delish every time.

Pork Steaks

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
These were really good! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because there was no temp listed so I kinda had to wing it. And for someone that needs the specifics to cook anything (usually) these still turned out good, but I had my heat a little high

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
I give this 5 stars because it is really easy to make, even for a not so great cook like myself! the topping was yummy, not too sweet. My husband loves this recipe and we will be making it many more times in the future

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2010
Wonderful recipe and easier than I expected. I did miss read the directions where it reads "stir in beans and mash" I thought it meant to add the mashed potato. So.. it was a bit watery and the beans were not mashed, but my husband (the dedicated carnivore) loved this dish and I can see myself cooking it once or twice a month.

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
This was a wonderful recipe and was easier to make than the directions seemed. I cooked the chicken and the sauce at the same time so the sauce would not separate. I halved the butter called for in the sauce, but when I do this recipe again, I will do 3/4 cup of butter. I also made a little bit more pasta than it called for. Very yummy and I will make again.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
This was easy and so yummy! I didn't have as much honey on hand as I thought so it wasn't as gooey as it should have been, but the flavor was great! I also didn't use chicken wings. I had some legs and breasts that I had in the freezer left over from chicken and dumplings and fried chicken. I will make this again

This was the most yummy salmon I have ever had! I didn't grill it, I cooked it on the stove top and it was still just as good.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
This was a very easy recipe to make. I did add some chicken broth instead of all water but that is the only change I made. It was a bit bland made as the recipe is listed. I will probably add some vegetables or some spices next time I make this.
