Upside Down Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
This is the only way to make exceptionally moist turkey! Besides cooking breast side down, I also brine my turkey overnight~12 hours, and use a turkey bag when cooking. Helpful hint: for out of this world gravy, simply stuff the bird with 2 apples halved (I use Granny Smith) 1/2 an orange (skin and all), 1/2 and onion, 1 stick of butter and celery sticks. Discard stuffing after turkey has finished cooking. It's hard to explain, but the apples add a hint of sweetness and overall fresh taste to the gravy-try it, you won't be sorry you did. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Buttermilk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
I know we all like moist cookies, but I would suggest turning down the oven temp (just slightly~15 degrees) and lighten up on the butter. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with this recipe. I'll keep it. Super EASY! I doubled the batch and ended up with about 25 cookies.

Easy Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
***Add the milk before coffee. I was a barista and learned that coffee directly over ice causes bittering! Simple and easy!

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: May 10, 2009
Amazing! You won't need another crepe recipe after you master this one! I used a little less butter and cooked on low temp. I put strawberries and blackberries on the outside and chilled cream cheese with sugar and cinnamon on the inside! MMMMM MMMM Good! A+

Classic Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
Very easy!!! **have the cold water close by to save your sauce. I added a pinch of chicken boullion-to try to make it taste like Perkins'. I was impressed...my egs on the other hand...lol
