Berry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2006
This is more like a 'buckle' than a cobbler, but so yummy. I followed the recipe as written, (had to add more milk & bake longer, about an hour.) I used blackberries, cause I'd been out picking them. I topped it w/crumb topping as in the 'Blueberry Buckle', recipe found in this site, & drizzled with glaze after it cooled. Made one for my friend & her family also & they all loved it. Thanks!!

Cappuccino in a Jar

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2005
Oh so good!! I wanted to make this for Christmas to give as gifts, so I thought I would try it out early. I ground the coffee in my blender, then added everything else & mixed it together. It come out great, I made it with milk & with water. Both ways where good, the milk makes it more creamy. Great recipe, thanks, I'm sure everyone will enjoy it.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2005
Oh SOooooo Yummy, I'd give it more stars if I could. I used 4 oz. of unsweetened chocolate (by mistake). I didn't have any chocolate chips so I used peanut butter chips, & it was just great. Thanks

Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2005
YUMMY!!I made this Rice Pudding yesterday & it was wonderful. I followed the recipe as written, except added some cut up dried apricots & 1/2 of a vanilla bean, because I had them on hand. I used a hot water bath as suggested by another reader. Stired it every 10 minutes, for the first hour. Baked it for 2 & 1/4 hours @300 deg. Thanks for the great recipe & like others said, it reminds me of Mom's.
