About this Cook
I'm a fun loving, carefree person that enjoys learning new things. I began cooking when I was 8 years old, when my father started buying me the All American Recipe Cards. I now own more cookbooks than I know what to do with and am a die hard fan of
My favorite things to cook
My absolute favorites are the Best Ever Lasagna (that I found on here), homemade pizza and tamales.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year, at Christmas time, my family forms the wonton party assembly line.
My cooking triumphs
My best cooking memory is of the first time I cooked. I made a Quick Cherry dessert, and when I took it out of the oven, I could only look up at my dad and ask "Did I make this?"
My cooking tragedies
Oh, there are so many mistakes I have made. I have burnt things, overcooked, undercooked, forgotten ingredients, used baking powder instead of baking soda.... but, learning is the key to it all.

Szechwan Shrimp
Pretty good, but a little bland. I think I used too much ketchup, so it kinda changed the flavor.

Pesto Pasta with Chicken
Very tasty; I ran out of red pepper flakes so I used chili powder. But, it turned out wonderful. The pesto was a very good hint.

Pizza Without the Red Sauce
It was so delicious and didn't have the heavy feeling that red pizzas leave you with. The sauce was amazing!
