Chicken Jalfrezi

This is an awesome recipe. My only complaint is that there is too much salt and it's not spicy enough for my taste. To remedy that I only add a teaspoon of salt. I also add a teaspoon of cayenne.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
There are some slight improvements needed, but I chose to still rate this recipe 5 stars because the breading is restaurant perfect. I seasoned the meat before the breading otherwise it would have been bland. Also I would make far less gravy next time and maybe use my own recipe.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This is an excellent recipe. Yes, the breading will be mushy but it's gonna be so good you're not gonna care. The only thing that I added was a little lemon pepper when sesoning the meat and I spiced up the sauce to taste. I added a couple of cloves of minced garlic, some salt, and parsley. I may even add a little lemon pepper to the sauce when I fix it tonight.

No doubt about it this is definitely a 5 star recipe. Everything about it the way it was written is absolutely perfect including cook time which was right on. The most flavorful and tender pork loin I have ever had in my life! Must try recipe as written cooked on the grill.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
I'm giving this recipe 5 stars because it is one of two that I didn't have to change anything. This recipe is perfect as is, though I did add some black beans just for health reasons. I threw the chicken in the crock pot frozen and cooked on high four hours. After two and a half hours I shredded the chicken. What a great recipe! Tastes just like tortilla soup you would get from an authentic mexican restaurant here in texas if not better.

Spicy Beef Curry Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I cooked this recipe as directed and I found it quite bland. There was heat, but not much else. It's definitely lacking something and I can't quite figure out what it is.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This recipe is amazing. The only thing I changed was I used shredded cheese instead of the sliced because I couldn't find any at the grocery store. My husband and I consumed the entire pan in two days by having it for dinner twice, lunch, and even breakfast.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

The best deviled eggs I've ever had. My only advice is to throw a little paprika on top.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
I gave this recipe 4 stars because the dressing is a little too sweet as is. With half the sugar though, it was amazing. I recommend doing half the sugar. Throw some feta cheese, purple onion, and chopped pecans. Marinade some boneless skinless chicken in italian dressing, grill it or backe it, chop it, and throw it on top. This recipe will be 5 stars with the modifications.

Mom's Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
What an awesome recipe. I did however make a couple of changes due to the fact that I'm not a fan of white wine. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into small pieces, and I also used half the flour. I used 1 cup of red wine instead of the white, and added a can of tomato sauce. It was awesome to say the least on top of some pasta. Pretty much any kind works.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly as directed and it felt like something was missing. Too many cranberries maybe and not enough seasoning. My husband hated it, bit I thought it was pretty good. I baked bonesless skinless chicken breasts in the oven at 375 for about 20 minutes with the pan half way full of whole milk, salt, pepper, and whole cloves of garlic with the ends cut off. It made the chicken really tender. I think next time I will omit about 2/3 of the cranberries and add some extra seasonings.

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
This was an over all great recipe thought next time I think I may make a few changes. You definitely do not want to bake it for the full 30 minutes because the cheese will be hard and burnt. Probably about 15 minutes will work, or just long enough to melt the cheese. Though my boyfriend said it wasn't too sweet, I thought it was. Next time I will either substitute the diced tomatoes for spicy rotel or substitute the soup for salsa.

Very Very good. The only thing I did different was, I omitted the lemon zest and sprinkled a little cayenne pepper for spice.

Washabinaros Chili

I normally never rate or review recipes, but I just had to on this one. This is BY FAR the best chili I have ever made. For the beer I used Shiner Bock Black and added an extra tablespoon of wasabi like the other reviewers suggested. This is a must try recipe with an endless array of flavors!
