Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2012
These were delicious! I bought 3 bags of frozen Armour meatballs - 25 meatballs per bag- and used 2 12 ounce bottles of Heinz chili sauce, 1 14 oz jellied cranberry sauce and doubled the sugar & lemon juice and the sauce/meatball ratio was perfect! Can't wait to make again!

Caramel Frosting IV

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
This was good, I had to add milk to get it to a spreadable consistency after adding the powdered sugar. I may decrease the amt of the sugar, as my hubby was scraping it off his piece of cake because it was too sweet for his taste. Will make again with adjustments.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
Absolutely delicious! Rave reviews from the party I took it to last night.Super disappointed I didn't have any leftovers, now I have to make another one! Had a little trouble with the edges browning and the middle not being totally done, but the brown edges were still moist and the middle gooeyness was hidden by the frosting so it was all good.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This was pretty good. It wasn't very pretty to look at...I think maybe the half and half was trying to separate from the rest of the liquid? I did, however, put it in the crockpot on low for about 8 hours and it looked worse and worse the longer it cooked so I won't crock pot it again. I ended up topping it with lots of cheese and sour cream and hubby went back for thirds!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
So, so good! By far the best cookie recipe I have found on this website. The peanut butter cookie is delicious on its own, but once you bite into the cup....oh my it's peanut butter heaven! I am so very glad I tried this recipe! A million thank you's!!!!

Very good! I used chocolate mint chips and I am very happy with the way it came out. I look forward to trying different flavors with this recipe.

Red Velvet Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
Ugh!!!! After 30 minutes, the edges were hard but the middles sank down and were raw inside. Cake was dry, too. What a waste of time and ingredients. :-(

Libby's® Famous Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
Mmm...yummy. I did the brown sugar/white sugar mix, 3/4 can of evaporated milk, and 2.5 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice. Very tasty, but really soft. I just wish it was a little more firm, I may add a little less milk next time.

Beefy Baked Ravioli

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
Wow this was really simple to make and very good! I used italian sausage, cheddar cheese (will use mozzarella next time though) and omited the tomatoes. I just finished off last nights leftovers and I gotta say it was even better today than it was for dinner last night! I can not wait to make this again! Thanks for this yummy recipe!

Cookies 'n' Creme Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
Very, very good and very, very easy! I tried to follow someones suggestion by putting a layer of cookies on the bottom of the pan and then spreading out the fudge on top and it didn't work for me...the fudge was too thick and didn't spread easily so I ended up mixing it all together and then spreading in a 9x13 pan. Will definitely make again!

Mini Meatloaves

I forgot to add the cheese (I don't know how....I love cheese) and this was still good. My family seemed to enjoy it. I made mine in the little muffin tins.

Pumpkin Pie Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This was a pretty good bread. I used my bundt pan and cooked for about 60 minutes, half of that covered with foil. I used pumpkin pie mix instead of regular pumpkin but I wish I still would have added more spice for more of a kick.

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
Soooo disappointed! I generously greased and floured my bundt pan and the darn thing stuck and fell in pieces as I tried to get it out. It tastes OK...it was really hard for me to tell when it was done because the knife came out gooey due to the filling so I may have overcooked it a bit. The icing was very unappealing looking and it didn't taste so great, either. I will stick with my fave bundt cake....the irish cream bundt cake!

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
This is pretty good. I replaced the oil with applesauce and accidentally put in a full cup instead of half so the texture is a little gummy...but I am going to have fun playing with this recipe until I get it just right for my family. And it was fun mixing it all up with my hands!

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Yummy I was really impressed with this! I used Jimmy Dean light sausage and wish I would have increased the flour/milk per other suggestions. This amount barely fed my hubby and 2 kids. Also a bit too much sausage but if you double the milk & flour I bet it would be perfect! I will definitely make again!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
This smelled good and tasted good...but it was the most un-appealing looking meal I have ever made. The chicken was so tender it practically shredded itself in the crockpot which, I think, was the problem. If it were cubed it wouldnt have ended up looking like dog food. Also there wasnt enough liquid for my taste. My hubby liked it but kids ate hardly anything. Next time I will stick with beef stroganoff.
