German Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
A hit at my house. I layered sliced, canned potatoes first, then the kraut and chicken. I used boneless thighs instead of breasts. If you are not a sauerkraut lover, try rinsing it before you use it - takes away some of the sour flavor. Thanks for a great and easy recipe!

Poblano Chile Enchiladas a la Gringa

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
These had a very good flavor (only my second Mexican recipe attempt). Mine had no heat whatsoever so I might add a jalapeno next time. I would also like to test these with the white Mexican melting cheese, but they are great just as they are!

Paprika Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
This was wonderful. A suggestion for those who use ordinary canned sauerkraut like me - you need to rinse the sauerkraut two or three times and let it drain. You can taste it right out of the can and then rinse it until you feel it's not too salty and sour. If you do this your recipe will turn out great just as mine did. Thanks for the recipe.

Pumpkin Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Absolutely yummy. Didn't have evporated milk so I used half whole milk and half vanilla flavored liquid coffee creamer instead and cut the sugar in half. Used as a side dish for Paprika Pork Chops from this website. Will be making this for company - thanks so much for the recipe.

Grandmas Bogie's Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
Great recipe. Used five boneless, skinless thighs and used up all of the coating. They were moist, tender and delicious. Will make these again.

Maple Dill Carrots

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
I absolutely love these and I am not usually a carrot person - I accidently left out the salt and pepper but didn't miss them. I intend to make these again and again. Thanks so much for the recipe - delicious!

Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
Easy and tastes great. I only had cream of celery so I used that - increased garlic powder and paprika, otherwise prepared as directed. I will make this again.

Cider Vinegar Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
I made this as the recipe directed excepted that I halved the recipe to feed 3. We loved it - the chicken was moist (amazingly so for boneless & skinless breasts) and tasty and not too strong of a vinegar flavor. My husband is not a fan of chicken breasts & he loved it. Will make again and again.

Vegetarian Cottage Cheese Patties

Reviewed: May 28, 2009
I made these exactly as directed except I added some panko bread crumbs to top and bottom of patties. This seemed to help hold them together a little better. They were WONDERFUL. If you are not a fan of thyme, you might want to reduce to 3/4 or 1/2 tsp. I am going to try these as meatballs for meatball subs or spaghetti using italian seasoning instead. Thanks so much for this recipe - love it!

Sweet Potato Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 26, 2009
Made these for my vegetarian brother & we all loved them. I baked the sweet potatos (peelings on) in the microwave in just a few minutes to save a lot of time and aggravation over boiling for 30 min. as recipe directs. Will definitely make again!
