Stuffed Green Pepper

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
This recipe definitely was good, but I would make a few changes to add a bit more flavor and cut down on the cook time. We used soy beef instead of ground beef which takes less time to cook and is much healthier, but next time we will try canned diced tomatoes with onions to get a bit more flavor. Also, adding some garlic and basil to the sauce would definitely give the sauce a bit more flavor. I also like the suggestion to layer the beef/rice mixture with mozzarella in between and on top. Overall, a good recipe, with great potential !

These were delicious!! This was my first time making brussels sprouts and i will definitely make them again. I may experiment with some other spices, but the salt and pepper were surprisingly tasty!

No-bake Chocolate Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Delicious! I had to make 9 dozen cookies for a cookie swap and needed a recipe that would yield a lot of cookies and would be easy to make. These are very easy and the recipe can be modified to make lots of different flavors (i.e. different types of cookies and white or milk chocolate). Everyone RAVED about them and i have given the recipe out a lot.

D's Famous Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
Pretty good recipe. The first time i made this, it was a little bland for my taste (i like spicy salsa) and a little runnier than i like. This time when ni made it, i used canned diced tomatoes with chilis and onions (drained them before adding to my food processor). i also used a lot more cilantro, more garlic (about 3 cloves instead of only 2), more chilis (about 1/3 cup instead of 1/4) and more lime juice. It was much more flavorful this time. still, this recips is a great starting place if you like salsa more on the mild side.

Cajun Seafood Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
Excellent recipe! I took many of the suggestions from others, added a little more cream, and sauteed the seafood with garlic and cajun seasoning, and added it at the last minute before serving. Also used mozz instead of swiss cheese. Will definitely make this again, only next time i think i'll add some peppers and broccoli.

Cranberry Orange Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
This bread was amazing!! I did take the advice of another reviewer and used Craisins instead of fresh cranberries. Absolutely delicious, and it stayed moist for several days.
