Asian Turkey Burgers

So yummy! Didn't have ginger so I used some ground ginger spice and used white pepper instead of black. I made small slider patties to eat with rice. So easy and delicious. Will make again.

Squash Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
These are pretty delicious. Though hubby says there's an off taste to the cookies because of the butternut squash. The coworkers seem to love them fine. The cookies spread like crazy but then they rise. I'd prefer pumpkin or carrot cake cookies over squash cookies.

Ricotta Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
Wow, these are surprisingly good! It's a cake-like cookie that doesn't spread too much. I think the cookie has perfect sweetness without the frosting. I made the frosting with 1/2 tsp lemon oil for a half batch and hubby said it needed more lemon. I might try real lemon juice in the frosting next time for a more potent lemon frosting. I baked mines for 12 minutes (they're a bit huge) and they were slightly underdone at the top of the cookie. However, I LOVED the gooey underdone texture. It adds moisture, as if the frosting seeped into the cookie.

Cream Wafers

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
These tasted just okay. These are indeed difficult to make, especially if you're a drop cookie kind of baker. The wafers basically tasted like good pie crust so I might use it for pie next time! As one reviewer said, these cookies are indeed light. Seems like I can eat 20 of these and thought I only ate 2. The frosting only frosted half the cookies. Adding the sugar on the wafers should not be skipped as the wafers taste plain and needs the sweetness.

Apple Brownies

This is more like an apple pie bar than a brownie. Very delicious none the less.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
Wish i discovered broccoli salad sooner! I added double the broccoli and still thought there was too much sauce. I guess most broccoli salads have a lot of sauce and I'm just different. Very delicious though!

Delicious Pineapple Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Delicious! I didn't have milk on hand but I did have buttermilk. I mixed in the pineapple. I mixed all the wet ingredients first before adding to dry. I omitted the topping. The muffin is very fluffy! I'm learning to not over mix muffin batter so that my muffins won't turn out rubbery. This was a first success in a while.

Almond Tea Cakes

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
These were pretty tasty. I thought the filling might be more gooey but it pretty much soaked in with the dough. I did use more egg white so I'm not sure if that was the reason. I baked at 20 minutes and I think I would have taken off a few minutes because they were a bit crispy after they cooled. I prefer softer.

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
Very moist. I couldn't tell that it had pumpkin after the second bite. However, my fiance said he could taste the pumpkin pretty well. I had this with cream cheese frosting instead.

This was so incredibly delicious! I used chicken bouillon because I did not have chicken broth, added extra onions and used apple wood smoked ham. Absolutely scrumptious!

The Best Lemon Bars

I didn't know lemon bars could taste this good! I added the juice of two and a half lemons. The crust is simply buttery goodness with the lemon flavor.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
I added these in a chocolate cupcake and substituted the corn syrup with honey. This didn't turn out too well. The cookie is delicious on its own without the cupcake though.

Egg and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
I used Velveeta cheese that has 30% less fat instead of jack cheese and did not add in the can peppers. These were delicious! Very fluffy! I only wish they did not stick to the muffin paper.

Speedy Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
This was way too sweet. I used lowfat milk instead of half and half. I guess I was expecting real ice cream...not frozen creamer. I didn't like the texture at all.

Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
Not sure if it was because I used really over ripe bananas or quick oats, but my cookies turned out bad tasing and tough-chewy. Adding semi sweet chocolate chips wasn't a good idea either because the flavors did not mix well.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
These were good but not great. I only added half a teaspoon of water to the dough and it was plenty moist. I'm not sure why the recipe called for 30 peanut butter fillings because I started running out of dough. Crunchy peanut butter works too. Taking the advice of the other reviewers, freezing the filling was a good idea. I would however flatten the filling because they were hard to squish after I added the dough. These weren't hard to make and wasn't as time consuming as I anticipated.
