Kathy's French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2014
Made this for supper with sausage patties and applesauce. I used double bread and no cream cheese. Also used double syrup and cinnamon. This was good and tasted just like French Toast but I would only make it again if I was needing to entertain guests while it baked.

Egg Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
Made this with precooked sausage and double O'Brien hash browns. Everyone loved it. Only complaint was some of the egg got underneath the crescent rolls and the spots that did, didn't brown or puff up. I will make this again. We eat breakfast every week for supper!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
EASY! Used double tomatoes and added a little water. Was a little worried when I poured the vinegar in the pan. Got a good whiff and it did not smell good but after cooking, it was sweet and tasty. Made it with green beans and brown rice. Making it with Farro next time. Will make again!

Slow Cooker Lentil and Ham Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
Excellent! Can't go wrong. Too thick, add more broth. Not salty enough, add salt. Too salty add a little water. I did add the whole can of tomato sauce and all broth, no water. Also added beef broth by accident and it was still great! Made this twice now and I love it. Also is good reheated. Healthy soup that's enough for a whole meal on it's own.

Garlic and Ranch Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
I read the reviews and was worried that these burgers would not come out. Well, I had no need to worry. They were great. It is the first time I have had or made turkey burgers so I was skeptical from the beginning. I think the reason people are having problems is not because of what it calls for but the type of turkey they are using. Frozen is probably no good and each brand probably has a different consistency. I used fresh ground turkey breast from my local grocery store. I did use less worcestershire sauce because 1/4 cup is way to much for me. I also cooked them on my griddle from the fridge. I had no breaking up or falling apart. I think they would have been fine on the grill but I didn't want to take the chance of ruining dinner. They tasted like regular burgers.I will definatly make these again.
