Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
Easy, Juicy and delicious. The only change I will make is to try different seasonings to zest up the flavor. I'll definitely make chicken this way from now on. Juicy! And soooo easy!!

Fettuccini with Basil and Brie

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2005
We really liked this recipe but thought it could do with a couple of adjustments the next time around. It is a HIGH fat dish, and would probably taste just as nice with less olive oil and about half the required amount of Brie. We'll see next time!

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2005
Quick, easy and delicious. I love the fact that, aside from the ground beef, this recipe uses things readily at hand in a moderately stocked pantry. I was honestly thrilled that it tasted so good. My family loved it!

Best homemade crust recipe we've used so far. Not like the real thing, but as close as we've gotten so far!! Ciao, from Italy!

Baked Dijon Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2004
Didn't have canned milk on hand, used fat free milk instead - we cut it up and put in top of salad. Made an excellent, filling dinner. Tasted GREAT and was healthy to boot!

Dutch Apple Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2004
My husband is Dutch and although he'd never had a cake like this one - he LOVED it! We all did. (I didn't have vanilla in the house at the time I made this, so I substituted 1/2 tsp rum flavoring for 1 1/2 tsp vanilla)

Apple Dumplings I

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
My husband is desert crazy so I try to use a lot of desert recipes that require fruit. I have to slip in his diet somehow! He was really impressed with these Apple Dumplings and they're a nice alternative to Apple Crisp or Turnovers for a lazy winter evening!

Tropical Chicken I

Will make again but I think I'll add a little boost for flavour. I think a little curry sauce might do the trick.

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2001
I was very disappointed by this recipe. The chicken itself was not ruined but the outer breading was dry. This was also a lot of garlic even for a garlic lover (which I am). If you are going to try it, I would suggest using only 2/3 the recomended garlic.

All American Apple Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2001
I used gala apples and the pie turned out PERFECT! Compared to ALL other apples pies I've tasted I would say it's number one. I'm not looking for another recipe! Even my son, who doesn't like pie crust, didn't leave any of his pie behind!!

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2001
This quiche was delicious and a big hit with everyone. I added a little bacon to the veggie mix and sprinked a few crumbs of it on top before baking...just for some added pop! :-) It was very good.

My picky 14 year old "non-onion eating" son and my "inspiring" food critic fiance' both enjoyed the soup last night. It was fantastic.
