Baked Chicken-Fried Steak with Mushroom Gravy
Good. I would make this again. I didnt have any cans of mushroom on hand. And I really like lots of gravy with my meat. So, I used one can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom. Mixed those together and added some fresh mushrooms I had. Turned out very well and the meat was tender. The gravy had lots of flavor so I think next time I will omit seasoning the meat.

Slow Cooker Tamale Pie
I liked this recipe a lot! I have cooked it twice so far. One time with the slow cooker (only needed to bake for 2.5 hours) and another time in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. We like things spicy in my house so I seasoned the ground beef with taco seasoning and browned with onions. Then I shaked some hot sauce into the beef/ bean mixture til I got the right taste. My family loved it both ways. I serve with corn that we spoon over the pie, and top off with more shredded cheese, and sour cream. Also, if you think it is too dry just use some more enchilada sauce.
