Irish Cream Bundt Cake

2/2006 - This is the best cake EVER!! I made this for New Year's and it was such a hit I had to make it again for my party today. I'm so glad that I did. The recipe is perfect just the way it is. Make sure to use all the glaze. It's not too much! 12/25/06 - I don't like it when people write a bad review and then change all of the ingredients. I really like this recipe as is BUT.... I wanted to make this today as a gift for a friend. I didn't have yellow cake mix, I only had sugar-free pudding mix, and I didn't have enough Bailey's. So I used chocolate cake mix, the sugar-free pudding mix, and Kahlua!! It was fantastic!!!! Remember, you really do need to use all of the glaze. Too many members here complained that they did not taste the alcohol. The flavor is in the glaze!!!

All-Day Apple Butter

This was by far the best apple butter I've ever made!! I used a variety of apples and a little less sugar. I cooked it for a bit longer so that it was less runny and then used an emersion to make it smooth. Delicious!

Salisbury Steak

This was excellent!! Made it with ground turkey so that it was less Weight Watchers points. I added a whole teaspoon of ground mustard instead of half but it was still great!

Pork Butt Roast with Vegetables

This was the BEST pork butt roast EVER!!! My parents came to celebrate Christmas early and we made this for our special dinner. My mom still raves about it and she is an excellent cook who has experimented with many pork roasts over the years. When the meat is cooked it is sooooooo tender and delicious. Hubby and I are making it again today but without the veggies. We are going to use it strictly for pork tacos and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. I would definitely suggest putting garlic cloves in the meat and season generously before browning. If you are making a gravy then it would be better to add chicken broth to the water in the roasting pan. One last note---when made with the vegetables it is very similar to a New England boiled dinner, just to give you an idea of what it will be like.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

This was very easy to make and sooo yummy! I had to find a recipe that had very simple tastes because my picky, 8 year old niece was visiting. This was just perfect. I will definitely make enough of this to can so that we never have to purchase canned sauce again.

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

This recipe is a hit! My husband gave up meat for lent and we found this recipe and are making it for the second time this week. We will double it this time. A note for those that don't like hot/spicy foods - add less jalapeno.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These were so easy! The only things I did differently from the recipe is no steusel topping and I used frozen blueberries instead of fresh. I just didn't feel like making the topping and all I had were frozen blueberries. They were absolutely perfect!! I only did a single batch because some of the bad reviews scared me. I'll be whipping up another batch when I'm done enjoying my muffin! My hubby will be a hit at work tomorrow!

Biscuit Topped Breakfast Casserole

My family loved this recipe. Needed something quick and easy when company was over and this was a hit. Couldn't find the frozen AuGratin potatoes so used boxed instead. You don't even have to cook them first. Just add them to the sausage, egg, and cheese mixture. Will be making again this weekend!!

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Baking Powder Biscuits I

I made with about 1 cup of cheddar cheese and a couple of teaspoons of the minced garlic that you buy in a jar. They were fabulous!! I can't wait to make them again tonight! My husband said that they were better than the restaurant ones!!

Blue Cranberry Sauce

I made this for Thanksgiving last year and it was awesome!! I made it again when cranberries weren't in season so I used craisins, won't do that again!! I can't wait for fall so that I can stock up on fresh cranberries!!!
