Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread
great recipe! i don't have an oven, but i halved the recipe and steamed them in cupcake holders. they were super soft and spongey, moist and delicious! i replaced the butter with sunflower oil and used freshly grated ginger.

a perfect way to use my overstock of apples! healthy and delicious, and smells so wonderful. instead of sugar i used honey. yumyumyum
