Special Deviled Eggs

My first time making deviled eggs, and they were gobbled up, every last one of them! So they must have been good right?! Next time I'll put less mustard, I think I put a bit too much.

Sorry, I really wanted to like this a little bit more. Sometimes I think one of the problems with reading the reviews ahead of time is the hype, some of these reviews hype the recipes up so much that you're looking forward to something soooo delicious, and then when it's not, it's really disappointing.

Smashed Cauliflower

Tastes like cauliflower, nothing special. I added milk, and extra butter. Next time I'll add more butter, this is a good low carb substitute for potatoes. And although it is good, nothing can really compare to potatoes, so don't get your hopes up too high.

Beef and Mushroom Stuffed Peppers

I thought these were really tasty. One thing that I forgot to add was the gravy so I'm sure that would have held the mixture together. I won't forget that again next time; I make these!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Excellent! I followed some of the advice in other reviews and added an additional cup of sugar (I actually used Splenda blend so it was 1 & 1/2 cups) and and doubled the vanilla extract. I made them for Easter into bunny shapes, the kids loved them, the adults loved them! I was short on time so I never had the chance to ice them but it didn't seem to be a problem. The only problem was keeping my hands off of them!

Chile Verde II

It was good, I read some of the reviews and cut the broth down by half and it was still too watery! I added some cornstartch to thicken it up, and that helped. I made it for Christmas and everyone said it was so good, I think that's because they never tasted my mother in laws, I'm just going to have to break down and ask her for her recipe!

not bad, not great, I didn't think it had a lot of flavor myself, I used reduced sodium soy sauce, I did not omit the salt. Don't know what happened. Probably won't make again

Broccoli Cheese Soup

I love broccoli cheese soup, and this one was delicious, I can't wait to make it again! Next time I'll listen to the other reviews and reserve one can of broth for the corn startch, it was a tad too watery for me, I prefer thicker soup.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Ooooh, I loved this! I didn't follow the recipe exactally, I just used what I had in my cabinet, no parsley flakes, used half olive oil and half vegetable oil, it turned out perfect! The smell of the cooked steaks made my mouth water, and they tasted just as good as they smelled!! Will definately make again!

Albondigas Soup I

Dog Food Dip

I made this for Thanksgiving, and everyone thought the name was hilarious. They were hesitant to try at first but once they did, they couldn't stay away. After reading the reviews I had higher expectaions, but overall was very pleased with the result.

Barbecued Short Ribs

I didn't know what to expect from this recipe but I was more than pleasently surprised! My husband was really impressed (and I thought I was a good cook to begin with). This is a melt in your mouth recipe good! I'll definately be making this again soon!
