Best Potatoes You'll Ever Taste
Great idea for using potatoes. We usually like our baked/grilled potatoes with sour cream but find that we're often out of it when we need it so we've been looking for something else to use as a substitute and this is it. I microwaved them until almost cooked and then cut each potato in half. Then I spread the mayonnaise mixture on each cut surface and broiled them until the topping was slightly browned. We both love them this way. Thanks for the great idea Xanthe.

BBQ Sauce
Sorry, but I made this recipe exactly as written but found that it had very little flavor except for the taste of cider vinegar. I couldn't taste any of the other ingredients at all. The sauce was also way too watery. Maybe increasing the amount of ketchup and reducing the water might help. Also might try adding some garlic powder and substituting brown sugar for the white sugar.

Kielbasa and Cabbage
Since my mother was Polish I've eaten this dish many times. You're right about the potatoes-more people use them in this dish than don't and very few put the caraway seeds in it. I'll tell you a little secret though. One reviewer came close when she said that she tried it with bowtie pasta. This meal is fantastic with kielbasa, cabbage and a bowl of buttered egg noodles on the side with a little salt and pepper. You'll think you've finally reached seventh heaven it's so tasty and filling. Real comfort food here.
