Slow Cooker Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Too sweet for us! Had to add red pepper flakes, hot sauce, and more chili powder. Loved using the pumpkin but I think the pumpkin pie spice and brown sugar made it too sweet for our tastes.

Ham Bone Soup

Thank you TootSweet13 for an awesome recipe! With the exception of adding a bayleaf and using low-sodium/no MSG chicken broth I followed the recipe as written. I was nervous since my hambone was from a HoneyBaked Ham (thought maybe any remaining glaze would interfer) but no need to worry. This was the BEST ham soup I've ever made!

Aush (Afghani Chili)

Awesome Recipe! Read multiple reviews and decided to stick to the recipe as written as far as ingredients and measurements. Only change I made was start is all in one pot; browned ground tukery, onions and garlic 1st then added all the other ingredients. Then transferred to a slow cooker for 4+ hours on low and served over rice with sour cream on the side. Loved the flavor combinations. Thanks Bonnie C ;-)

Awesome recipe! Thank you Strangecacti!! Only deviation on my part...used Kerry Gold Garlic & Herb butter vs. pressed garlic and butter. And used Better than Bouillon since I didn't have demi-glace.

Easy Spicy Roasted Potatoes

OMG....I followed the recipe almost to the tee; added jsut abit more chili powder as we like things spicy. I took EMMA37's advice and added boneless skinless chicken (about 1lb) cut in chunks to the mix for a "One Pot Wonder" as my husband calls them and it was amazing; served with a vegie on the side!Thank you Yolanda!!!

Pumpkin Pie Squares

I followed this receipe to the letter but I guess I didn't let it firm up enough; I was afraid the crust would burn. BUT it doesn't matter! This dish is great in a bowl too! A defintie keeper. Thanks Amy!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Wow! Thanks to VBHOKIE (Baby Bella suggestion, increase cajun seasoning and add corn starch to thicken) for your tips! Basically followed the recipe as written but used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and Skim Plus Brand FF ½&½ and increased Cajun seasoning to 1 Tbsp. Stopped by the local produce stand today and got purple and orange/yellow stripped peppers~trying to keep it local and fresh. Hubby was WAY impressed with the flavors and textures. Thanks Tammy for posting! As Hubby says "This is a keeper!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

OMG....this recipe/sauce is amazing! I have also used it on bone-in chicken and it was great too. My only deviation from the original recipe was I used Ancho Chili Powder on the ribs since I did not have ground red chile pepper o hand and red pepper flakes in the sauce in place of the chile pepper. Awesome recipe~Thanks Scott for sharing!

Baked Spaghetti

Good but not great; mostly blah. I followed other reviewers and doubled the sauce, used only 12oz of spaghetti, used ricotta instead of cottage cheese and wound up with a moutain of pasta with little zing. Should have used a spicier sauce or added more seasongs. On the plus side it feed almost 20+ people!

Shrimp and Andouille Sausage with Mustard Sauce

Love this recipe! Only thing I changed was to add a little red pepper flakes since we like things a little spicy. Did serve with pasta but will make it the next time using another reviewers advise and use potatoes. Thanks for a great recipe!

Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potato Bake

Was really excited when this recipe hit my inbox. But wasn't all that excited after making it. It wasn't horrible but just OK. It "missed" something and I'm not sure exactly what~more seasoning I guess. I did follow other reviews and added some garlic but it just didn't quite hit the spot.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

This was the first recipe that we were extremely disappointed in even taking into account all of other reviewers suggested changes. Smelled great ~ but bland. Won't make it again. Cumbersome prep not worth the effort.
