Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I never had zucchini before but grew some in my garden and needed a way to get rid of it without tasting it...and this was perfect! I made it according to the recipe (besides regular chocolate chips and no nuts)and they are delicious. Just made a second (and third) batch tonight to freeze!

Chocolate Chunk-Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Absolutely delicious and very moist! I'd recommend mixing the cinnamon & sugar separate from the chocolate & nuts just because it would be easier to spread the layers. Will make again!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Simple to make and very good. Used most of it for 2-inch carrot cakes (stacked) and the leftovers for graham cracker frosting sandwiches. Yummy!

Delightful Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Easy and delicious! I used 2 9-inch round pans instead of 9x13 and just kept an eye on it for when it would spring back.

Peach Crisp III

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Yummy & easy recipe. I haven't made many Crisps in my life though so I don't really know how this compared to other recipes. I forgot to put the flour on the peaches so it was a bit runny but still good.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
I haven't made many cobblers (and it's been a looong time) so I can't say this is the best I've ever had, but it was good. My only 'negative' is that the servings are waaaay understated. I made half the recipe with 1 cup of blackberries, baked it in a 9x6 pan and according to the recipe there should be 2 servings. I think I'll be able to get 5-6 servings out of it which means 10-12 for a full recipe. Good thing is waaay less calories than it says!

Wonderful recipe. Great for cold winter days and I think it tastes even better as leftovers!

Raspberry Coconut Layer Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
I skipped the nuts (because I don't like them) but still quite good. Very sweet so small servings are good. I had problem with melting & drizzling chocolate but figured it out eventually (I melted and put into a sandwich bag with a corner cut off). The total prep time takes a while but as long as you have time to wait between steps it's not bad.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Quite possibly one of the easiest desserts I've ever made and quite yummy. Good for when you want a dessert and don't have much time to prepare.

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

I grew up on these and they are wonderful. Only difference is nuts instead of raisins. Absolutely wonderful breakfast!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I made this exactly as is but my cookies were very flat (I should have read more reviews). However, my husband says he likes his cookies flat and crispy instead of soft and chewy so I guess it was a success!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
I get rave reviews and lots of impressed people every time I make this. My only complaint is that it takes sooo long to do! I made a double batch and it took 3.5 hours (2 on chips, 1.5 on cutting fruit). For the chips, I slice with a pizza cutter, spray both sides with butter, and shake in a plastic bag of cinnamon & sugar. I stopped using brown sugar because it's plenty sweet already. Probably just adding the preserves would be enough. Will make again, but not too often just because of time!

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
EXCELLENT dessert! I got rave reviews when I made this and it's super easy. I just did 1/2 with blackberry preserves since I hadn't made it before and wasn't sure how it would turn out. I am 100% making these again, as soon as I have an excuse!

Grilled Leftover Ham and Pineapple Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
This is my new favorite thing to eat when I need a quick meal. I've been using cold meat ham because I don't have leftover ham. I don't measure the cream cheese, just cover 1 side of 1 piece of bread. I also use whipped cream cheese after reading some other reviews here. I've already had this 3 times in 4 days!

Krissy's Easy Chocolate Triple Layer Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Excellent and easy recipe. I added crushed Oreos to the Cool Whip/pudding layer and added more to the top. I didn't make a layer of just cool whip since I don't like it much. This was gone in seconds at the party and people thought I bought it. Will definitely make again.

Mom's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Nice and easy meal. After reading many reviews I did 2 cans of soup and about 1 1/2 cups of milk. Also used a 3 qt dish (no way it would have all fit in a 2 qt). Will make again.
