Fluffy Biscuits

I woke up this morning remembering the dream I had about my moms biscuits and gravy. So I go into the kitchen and reach in the refrigerator for the canned biscuits. These aren't biscuits. They are crescent rolls. I've never had crescent rolls before but figured I'd give it a try. I hit the thingy on the side of the counter and POP!! Out comes....something? There is no way I can make these things resemble a biscuit. Aha! Bisquick! Bisquick has saved me more times than I can count. Must have been a lot more than I can count because I'm out of bisquick. Not ready to give up, I run to my trusted friends on AR. I am lucky enough to choose this recipe. These are absolutely amazing! Light, fluffy..perfect. Now the gravy...well, that's another story!

Holiday ONLY Mashed Potatoes

Excellent recipe. The only thing I did was follow the advice of another reviewer and heated the heavy cream. I will definately be serving this again.

Butterscotch Deluxe Pie

Bad name, great pie. It got raves at our Thanksgiving dinner. I followed the recipe exactly as written and found that the amounts were just right. Thank you for sharing....but PLEASE change the name! I like Toffee Cream Pie as suggested by another reviewer.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

I used 1 1/2 cups coconut milk and 1 1/2 cups half and half, 3 egg yolks not the two eggs called for and 1/3 cup cornstarch. Very good! Family loved it. With these slight variations, this will be my go-to recipe for Coconut Cream Pie from now on.

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

Very good basic recipe, not enough spices (personal preference). I changed the amounts as follows: 1 tsp ground ginger, 1/2 tsp ground cloves, 1/2 tsp salt ad used 1 cup of milk rather than the 1 1/2 called for. I will be making this again.

Famous Pork Chops

Didn't turn out at all, no one had dinner tonight! But, based on the other reviews, I will try this again. I used bone-in chops, breaded, covered dish with foil and removed the last few minutes and they just didn't look very appetizing. They were pale and "wet".

Asian Chicken Salad

Amazing! Thanks for sharing. The only thing I did differently was to mix up the dressing and pour it over the shredded chicken and let it set overnight in the fridge. The next time I make this (which will be soon), I will still marinate overnight but I will drain off the chicken, reserving the marinade and serving it on the side rather than pour and toss because this salad seems to "shrivel" quickly but you can't beat the taste!!!!!! I did double the marinade and it seemed about the right amount.
