Baked Cheddar Bacon Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
LOVED this dip. I had only cream cheese with chives and onion on hand, so I used the flavored cream cheese and omitted the onion. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. I will definitely make again!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I loved this recipe. I recommend poaching and shredding the chicken - this allows the chicken to thoroughly absorb the flavor of the sauce. Also, I omitted the oregano and added crushed red pepper. Finally, I microwaved my tortilla shells. When eating the leftovers, I microwaved one shell topped with cheese and then filled the shell with the chicken mixture. Excellent!

Slammin' Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
I've made this twice, and I didn't use the peanut oil. Each time I've allowed it to marinate for 6-8 hours. It's fantastic! This recipe got rave reviews from dinner guests last night.

With the addition of diced onions and a little milk with the eggs, I think this recipe would be perfect.

Garlic Spaghetti II

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2008
This was good but not much different from tossing spaghetti with just heated pasta sauce, especially garlic-flavored sauce.

Almond Broccoli Stir-Fry

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I have tried a large number of recipes on this site, and I believe this is the first vegetable side dish that I've given 5 stars. I made the recipe as is, and it is the best broccoli that I have ever tasted. Thanks!

Zucchini Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2002
This is a good recipe. I reduced the fat content by using fat free sour cream, light margarine, and low fat cream of mushroom soup. Also, I followed the suggestion of others and used only 1/2 C of onion. Very good.

Elderberry Pie II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2002
This was deeelicious...and I don't even like elderberry pie! I added about 1T extra of cornstarch and made a lattice crust. This pie had a perfect consistency, and my family just couldn't stay out of it. Will make again!

Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2002
I followed someone's advice and used 5T of tapioca instead of cornstarch. This was the first time I attempted a lattice crust, and it came out beautifully. Everyone loved the pie...I took it a school concession stand, and all the pieces sold immediately.

Zucchini-Coconut Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
These are very good. I omitted the fruits and nuts, increased the coconut just a little, and added 1 C choc chips to the batter. Then I scattered some chips on the top after baking. Will be making this one again.

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2002
This recipe is DEEE-licious! I served it at a scrapbooking party that my mom had, and all the ladies LOVED it! Almost all of them asked for the recipe, and they were shocked that it was zucchini and not apple cobbler. I baked mine in a 9x13 and added oatmeal and melted butter to the topping. 5 stars!
