I am newly married and living with my husband, one cat, and a puppy near Santa Rosa. I will be finishing up a master's degree program at San Francisco State in January. I love to read and just hang out with the hubby watching a movie or spending a lazy Sunday together.

Baking is my addiction: banana bread, brownies, cookies, muffins!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking spaghetti with meatballs with my mom! Forming hamburger patties with my dad from the age of 3. Baking cookies every Christmas eve. So many food memories!
My cooking triumphs
My first attempt at pie when I was 20. I made two perfect pumpkin pies from scratch, from an actual pumpkin! I was very pleased with myself, and my family loved the pie.

I hate when I burn cookies!
