Soft-N-Fluffy Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
I found these buns to be just what they claim in their name...soft and fluffy. I made them into hot dog buns for Italian sausage and peppers. My family loves them. If you are looking for a hard crusty bread this is not it, but I think they are wonderful. For my family this is a keeper.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
I made these cookies with the suggestion of others-using half shortening and half butter. They were good, but next time I will up the butter. We like a cookie that is a little flatter and a good butter taste. I also took the advice of others and added a bit more candy to the batter. These are good, but I think with a little more butter and a little less shortening they will be great! Thank you for the recipe.

Best Guacamole

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
I have used this recipe for years. I find it amusing at how many people rate this recipe after they make several changes. My family loves this recipe just as it is. It has a delicious pure avacado taste. Sure you can add other things to it, but please try it as is because it tastes wonderful. Thanks for a great recipe.

FANTASTIC COOKIE. I made the cookies and didn't use the filling--even though I am sure it is delicious, I just thought the cookies were stand out all on their own. Thanks for submitting this recipe.

Best Ever Brisket

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
The brisket turned out wonderful. I didn't have any beef broth so I used half a can of French onion soup and filled the rest with water to equal the beef broth amount. Very flavorful and made excellent sandwiches the next day with BBQ sauce. Thanks for a fool proof recipe.

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Wonderful coffee cake. Easy to make with ingredients that are always on hand. Cake held its moisture for several days. Will try making muffins with this recipe next time. A true 4 star. Thanks

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
These pancakes are great. Tender and fluffy. The only thing I do differently is to let the batter sit about 10 minutes before cooking. I think this helps the baking powder work more completely to give you that extra "fluff". This is the only recipe for pancakes I use.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Tried this last night with a cheaper cut of beef steak. I let it marinate 8 hours in the refrigerator, used the charcoal grill and it turned out WONDERFUL. I did leave out the parsley and cut the oil to 1 cup. The family raved. Thanks for the recipe.

Steak Tip Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Excellent marinade. I used it with Boneless Pork Chops and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours in a zip top bag then grilled the chops over a charcoal fire. A big thumbs up from the whole family.
