Making big family meals for the holidays when everyone helps out. And I really love that we always make each other's favorite dishes for birthdays.
My cooking triumphs
Creating my own recipes for the first time at age 10, and then hearing my family rave about them. That was such an ego booster for me, and sparked my love of cooking and serving others.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made biscuits to surprise my mom. I was about 8 years old, and I didn't know yet that there was a difference between baking soda and baking powder. Those were the grossest biscuits ever!
