Pumpkin and Sausage Soup
This was fantastic. My skeptical fiance also loved it. Subbed andouille sausage for hot sausage and maple syrup for liquor. Omitted brown sugar and butter It was seriously good. I was worried it would be thin but after pureeing the consistency was smooth and soup like!

Chocolate Torte Frosting
"thicken" in the double boiler can have many different interpretations on exactly how thick. My frosting was very rough textured and didn't taste particularly great either.

Chocolate Pudding Cake II
I made 1/2 the recipe and used 1/2 wheat flour and slightly less sugar. It was fantastic! Really- I can't say more good things about it and I would make this for company
