Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

Really nice. Smooth out the tops of the cupcake batter or they'll bake into weird dollop shapes. I topped these with a cinnamon cream cheese icing and a sprig of candied ginger - awesome!

Glazed Almond Bundt Cake

Loved this! I made it for a coworkers birthday and served it with a homemade raspberry sauce (recipe on this site) to mimic an almond shortbread/raspberry thumbprint cookie. It was very successful and easy to follow. Beautiful!

Plum Blueberry Upside Down Cake

Caramel Apple Coffee Cake

Unbelievable! I used only a cup of oil and it was planty moist. I also used the advice of another reviewer and poked holes and poured half the topping while still warm and the rest just before serving. This was so amazing; I made this for my coworker's birthday and it was voted the best so far (and I've made a lot of cakes!) A great recipe!

German Sweet Chocolate Cake I

This turned out very well! My husband liked this cake much better than my go-to chocolate! The topping is decadent and should be parcelled out in small bits or you may slip into a diabetic coma. Very rich!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

This is a great chocolate frosting, turns out glossy and delicious. 9 Cups is way too much icing sugar, you can get away with much less and still have the sweetness and consistency needed. Taste after every cup; I think I only used 2 or 3 max. Very good.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

These were great! I made these for out of town guests and they were light and fluffy. I served them with fresh strawberries and blueberries and my uncle's maple syrup from his sugar nush - to die for!

Chocolate Toffee Crunch Bars

These are always a big hit whenever I make them. The smaller the bite the better, very rich dessert. I cut them when they are still warm then recut along the same lines once they are cooled (less breakage). Much better the second day after being in the fridge. I also added some butterscotch chips to them because I had them around and these made them REDONKULOUS.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

I made this for Father's Day - a big hit! I took the advice of others and used coconut milk, amazing! Make your own whipped cream, it's easy and awesome. I am making this again for a BBQ today. I will only make this recipe from now on!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Awesome! I made this for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it was delicious! It was fairly simple to prepare and has lots of the flavours you want to complement the rest of the meal. I used regular sausage because, well, it's Christmas and it was ridiculously good.

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

The best cheesecake I have ever tasted! I made this for a coworkers birthday and it disappeared. Served it with PC butterscotch - ridiculous! Used a water bath to bake, left it in the oven with the door open for 1.5 - 2 hours to cool, left it on counter to get to room temp (or near it) about 1 hour, then to the fridge - no cracks, light creamy crazy.

Add maple flavouring to punch up the syrup content. A little dry, throw some instant pudding in the mix for a moist cake.
