I am a person who loves wonderful weather, fabulous food and precious people. I love to cook well balanced, traditional-style meals. I also enjoy cooking creative as well as traditional desserts. Thanksgiving is always my greatest opportunity to get creative with a traditional meal trying new recipes and new twists on old recipes. It is especially enjoyable because my husband always gets involved with me in the kitchen. The first time I successfully cooked a Thanksgiving Day turkey and it tasted magnificent! After not making biscuits from scratch for many, many years, I attempted to do so resulting in inedible hockey pucks. Not my best moment.
