Triple Berry Crisp
I doubled the recipe to make one for family and one for a girls dinner. Followed recipe exactly with fresh berries. Took them both out of the oven, packed one in Rachel rea casserole travel bag (while still hot). I tasted the one staying home and was disappointed at how dry it was. The one in bag stayed hot in bag for about two hours......the steam in bag must have made crisp moist and it was much better- I did get compliments and all was eaten, Don't know how to fix it to not have to add the "steam" step!! For one thing, I would double the berries- do love the bottom crust- but topping disappointingly dry. I do agree that people that loved this recipe must have rated it AFTER all the changes they made.....

Pork Fried Rice
I was expecting more from the ingredients and the reviews- but it wasn't great. I used bastami rice and maybe the left over pork tenderloin was a bit dry, and the soy sauce I have is "light"- so maybe these factors contributed to my dissapointment. I'm a pretty good cook and so many others liked this, but I thought this was not very tasty and a bit dry.

Salmon With Dijon Butter Sauce, Asparagus and Herb Butter Angel Hair Pasta
Really yummy. Somehow I messed up the dijon sauce though. It separated and got "chunky" when I put it on simmer to keep warm- what gives? Next time I think I'll try a nice citrus EVOO instead of butter to "healthy" it up a bit.
