Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER... I decided to use the Oreo Cookies with Peanut Butter instead of the Original Oreo. WOW!!!!! Now even better. It's the best of both worlds.

Oyster Stew

Fantastic! I used Oysters caught the same morning and we had dinner in no time flat. Absolutely fabulous on a cold day. NOT for the dieters that's for sure!

Wilted Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
OH MY GOODNESS!! YUM! YUM! YUM! Now I cannot say that this is a good thing if you are dieting. I could hear my arteries clogging as I ate this, but WOW! This salad was the best and extremely easy to make.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
FINALLY! Moist chicken breast with a ton of flavor to boot. This recipie was sensational. I used a few more mushrooms, but that is just because we love them so much. It is so easy to make and takes no time at all. Thank you!

Stuffed Mushrooms II

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2003
These mushrooms were spectacular. I made a 4 course meal for my husband and this was the appetizer. He could not quit eating them. He always begs me to make them for him. Even my 1 year old liked them and he doesn't like much of anything. They were perfect and I am making them again this weekend for a get together with some friends. I know they will love them as much as we do.

FABULOUS! Not only did my husband love them but my 1 year old loved them too. This is the only meat I have been able to get him to eat. Not only that, but my house smells incredible!

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2003
This recipe is ok, but I decided to add a little pizazz to it. Instead of using ranch dressing I used cream cheese, mayo and a little dill. Then I complimented that with cauliflower, broccoli, fresh mushrooms, diced sweet onion and then the grape size tomatoes cut in half and placed in rows so it makes the perfect size pieces for cutting. It was FAB! I always have to make two wherever I go. It doesn't ever last and is always the first appetizer to finish first.

Apple Pecan Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2002
My dad and I had a competition. Would it be my stuffing recipe or his? I WON WITH THIS ONE! My entire family loved it, even the younger kids. They really enjoyed the apples and walnuts. I did substitute pecans for walnuts, but I don't think it really made a big difference. It was fantastic. I forgot to add it to my recipe box so I had to hunt it down today for Christmas. We all thought it was a hit. Thanks!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2002
Overall I was dissatisfied with this recipe. It really left something to be desired. It didn't taste very good and I followed the directions exactly. I guess my tastes differ from others. I will keep trying to find a good recipe for lasagna.

Chicken Tortilla Soup III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2002
This soup was ok, but not very spicy. My husband and I like spice so I added a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and used HOT homemade salsa. I also added a dollop of sour cream to the top of each bowl to make things a little more flavorful. After my additions, it was perfect.

Deer Soup with Cream of Mushroom and Celery

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2001
Recipie was too greasy and left nothing to be desired. I guess I expected more of a cream base. I was not impressed.
