I had several years of culinary training before starting a restaurant and cafe management career along the NH Seacoast then into the Boston metro area. I ended up realizing there was a lot of $$$ to be had in technology though and migrated to that field in my late 20's. I have never stopped cooking though, especially for Holidays. My father just recently retired from being a chef and has always loved to cook as well.

Will not cook recipes that require a large (stock) pot of boiling water. Got splashed once. No fun.
