Homemade Shake and Bake Mixture

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
This was awesome for chicken breast tenders. I didn't have any bread crumbs, so I used ritz cracker crumbs. Since I used the crackers, I decided to cut back the salt a little and it was perfect. The spices just go really well together. I baked it at 400 for about 25 minutes and the chicken was juicy and delicious! Served w/ mashed potatoes and corn.

Cinnamon-Sugar Fan Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
These were pretty good. I didn't have muffin pans, so I just rolled up the dough and cut it like cinnamon rolls. Then I put them on a greased cookie sheet. I also made some icing and drizzled it over them. They definately looked homemade and they were really rich. I could only eat one, but my boyfriend ate 4. Next time I'll use more cinnamon.

Marinated Cherry Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
I just don't really like the dry herbs and the vinegar. It just overwhelmed the tomatoes. Plus I used EVOO so maybe that was it? Just didnt do it for me.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
My boyfriend and I love this recipe! It works really well if you use a hoppy beer. I used Bell's Amber Ale the 1st time I made it, and Corona the 2nd. I liked it way better with the Bell's!

Creamed Peas

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
Love it! I like peas but not really just plain. I used 1 can of sweet peas, drained them, and added them to the sauce. It broke the peas down and made them kinda mushy, which I LOVE! Great way to eat peas!
