Hillshire Farm® Sausage Alfredo

came up as the "recipe of the day" - had not thought about using cajun seasoning. I'm bad about using recipes as a "suggestion for a place to start" ;). Very flexible for using what you have on hand (I had smoked sausage, broccoli, tomato, onion and peas) - nice alternative to chicken alfredo or spaghetti. Adjusted quantities by sight for a family of 3. VERY QUICK and it will make me look for other sausage recipes, I forget that we like them!

Luscious Slush Punch

EZ! Good base recipe. Use whatever jello you have on hand. I omit sugar entirely. Dissolve jello in just enough hot water - add cold water / ice to make 6C. This lets it freeze faster - cuts down on your "ahead" time. Wonderful to have in the freezer for the opportune moment. Nice to have the tradition of punch added back into our events and it is fun to get to use a punch bowl - it just looks festive!! Friends expect punch to be our contribution! It can be separated into Quart sized freezer bags - adjust ginger ale amt - serve in a large salad bowl w/ a gravy ladle. Thanks for posting this recipe.

Beef Stroganoff III

Wanted to try this because it didn't have "cream of" soup in it. FLEXIBLE recipe!! Not sure what cut of meat I had - sliced into appropriate size.. Marinated in 3T Worcestershire sauce, omitted butter, used yellow onions because they were on hand. Didn't have beef broth - just added water and let the meat simmer a bit. Used dried mushrooms. Will definitely make again - EZ - Wonderful taste!

Snappy Green Beans

not favored at our house, better described as "sour" green beans than snappy ... may have been better with 6 slices of bacon - I only used 2 (w/ my usual method, more than enough bacon flavor).
