Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
This smoothie was really great! I made it vegan by using soymilk instead. I added a few fresh blackberries but that made it a little too watery so I had to freeze it for a bit but it was a delicious treat! I also didn't have wheat germ so I threw in some dry oat bran instead to thicken it up.

Monster Cookies VI

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
This is a delicious recipe but my cookies didnt seem to fluff up like the picture so I think next time I will use one tsp baking soda and one tsp baking powder. I added butterscotch morsels and they were great. I love crunchy peanut butter so thats what I used. I ran out of rolled oats and used half quick oats and they turned out fine.

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
Holy !!!!!!! This is the most amazing melt-in your mouth cake I have ever tasted! I used this recipe to make 24 superb cupcakes and it was the exact right amount. Changes: 1 and 1/2 cups of milk and definately make the meraingue right before. I sifted the cake flour and sifted all the three dry inredients 3 TIMES! Make sure you do that. I really think it makes the most difference. I'm pretty sure thats all the changes I made. I almost dont even want to frost these beautiful cupcakes!

Cinnamon Supper Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
I added about a tablespoon of cinnamon to the cake. I doubled the recipe and got almost 18 cupcakes out of it. I reduced the cooking time to 18 minutes for cupcakes. The cake rises quite a bit so next time Ii'll leave maybe 1/2 an inch of room in the cupcake tin to the rim. They deffinately remind me of a doughnut!

Beach Body Fruit Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
This soup was great! It paired well with a nice spinach and fruit salad. The nutmeg makes it feel more like a soup and less like a smoothie.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins I

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
This recipe was good when I followed other suggestions of doing 1/3 cup of oil and 1/8 cup of poppy seeds and adding 1 tbsp of lemon extract and 1&1/8 cups of lemon yogurt. They only need to bake between 10-12 minutes for sure. with these changes they are WONDERFUL!

German Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
This cake was to die for! It was well worth all of the effort. I messed up the filling the first time not letting it get thick enough. I salvaged it though by bringing it to a boil after I had added the coconut and pecans. I used that batch between the layers and made another batch which cooked on medium heat for about 14 minutes for the top and sides. I made it for my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary and lets just say he is deffinately stickin around for more!

Apple Banana Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
This was a great recipe. I choppped the apples instead of shredding like others suggested and it turned out wonderful. I used half whole wheat and all purpose flour and it turned out fine. I don't know if I can call this a cupcake though unless you add frosting like I did. Both my dad and boyfriend went back for seconds. very delicious.
