Blogger is still not in the dictionary. I don’t blog is either. I still get a red line under those words when I write in Word. Blogs have been around for years, but I’m just catching on. That’s typical; I usually catch on to trends a few years after they’ve been popular.

As you can tell from my profile, I am a new blogger.  Should I expect to become addicted?

I’m curious about a lot of things.
  • How much time do you spend writing and reading blogs?
  • Is a certain time of day better than another to make a post?
  • Do you plan your blog posts (write them in Word, maybe think about them) or do you post a fleeting thought as it goes through your mind?
  • What’s an effective way to get people to read your blog?

I often thing of blogs I want to post while I’m brushing my teeth. It’s a very inconvenient time to write, too messy.

When do you get your blogging inspirations?

I read the new blogs 2 or 3 times a week. I post when I have a question. If I were to blog I would just type it up as I don't know anything about Word & don't do cut & paste. Sometimes we get some neat recipes on the blogs & it's a good way to find out what otheres are doing. As we humans are a curious bunch! I love having a well-stocked freezer.

Hi! Sadly, I only get to read/write blogs maybe once a week, due to my schedule. I wish I could keep up daily. I don't plan my blogs, just whatever I'm thinking of at that time. However uninteresting it may be, lol. And the way I get people to read my blog is through brute force. :D

Hello, I am right here with you. I am new to this also. I can see where it could be addictive because I enjoy reading all the blogs and new recipes. I go online to do something and I always find myself coming right back here. Good luck!

The word "blog" started out being simple old "web log" then people decided to make it "weblog" and then finally becomming too lazy to type all three extra characters, "blog." That is probably why it's not in the dictionary. "Blog" is a slang.
