Winco has a deal that if you purchase $50.00 in groceries you can purchase a turkey for .26lb a pound. I just purchased a 27 pounder. I hope it will fit in my roaster. The total cost is only a little over $7. I'm going to find many ways to make this bird stretch. I love congratulating myself on…

Today I finally opened my # 10 can (6lb 12oz) of Garbanzo beans. I’ve tested two recipes and now my high-powered vita-mix went capote. It will start working again, but needs about 30 minutes to cool off.
I tested Hummus III. It’s a flavorful recipe, but my son who loves hummus didn’t like it.
