Excellent! Made exactly as written and marinated for almost two days. Used some of the marinade to saute vegetables for fajitas. Will make again.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
Wow! These are wonderful. The chicken practically melted in your mouth and it had the perfect amount of spice. I used Franks Red Hot and added blue cheese coleslaw to the sandwiches. To die for! Thanks for the recipe.

Garlic Asparagus with Lime

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
One of the best asparagus recipes I've come across. I think any citrus juice would be wonderful if you want to change it up occasionally. Delicious!

Logan Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
These bars are wonderful. I make them once a week for my husbands lunch and for afternoon hikes in the mtns. I follow the recipe but add extra dried fruit, extra nuts and flax seeds. I also add more sunflower seeds. I cut back the oil once and replaced it with more applesauce. They were too dry so went back to original recipe. My husbands fast-food friends at work love them which is quite a compliment. I have never had to freeze them but even after a few days in a Ziploc they are still yummy and delicious. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
WOW! What a great chili. I changed nothing other than using canned green chilis for fresh because I forgot them at the store and adding the kernels from a fresh ear of corn because I needed to use it. It is the best chili I have ever made. Thank You.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Absolutely delicious!!! I will be making this on a regular basis. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. The sauce was over the top. I might try baking next time to change it up a bit and try to lighten up the sauce where possible so I can enjoy eating it more often.

Grilled Fish Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
This was delicious. My husband said it was one of the best fish dishes he's had. We used a non-stick skillet instead of the grill as it was too hot outside but it was wonderful just the same. I also used fresh basil from the garden instead of dried.

Asian Coleslaw Light

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
I could have eaten the entire bowl of this. I will be making this delicious, light dish weekly. My family loved it. It was easy and healthy. I might try adding different veggies to change it up, like edamame.

Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin With Apricot Ginger Glaze

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
I usually have a hard time getting pork tenderloin to be juicy but this was perfect. We brushed the glaze on the whole time it was on the bbq and it developed the most delicious crust. The spice was perfect even though it marinated for a day and a half. Will definately make this one again.

Asian Cucumber Thai Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
I used 3 regular sized cucumbers and it still made a large bowl. I might swap the cilantro for parsley next time since we aren't big cilantro fans. I wanted to make it as written the first time. I would add more nuts too because it gave it a great unexpected cruch. Perfect amount of spice.

This was one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. My husband couldn't get enough. We used cod and it was so moist. We followed the recipe exactly and it came out beautifully. Looks like a restaraunt dish.

These were the best ribs I've ever had in my life. They were incredibly easy to make and soooo tender. The sauce is something I'll make for a lot of different meats. My husband is still talking about them.

Cornish Finnish Michigan Pasties

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
Very good. I left out the msg for obvious reasons. The recipe made way more filling than I could use with the dough recipe. I ended up buying store bought pie crust and it worked great. I also put some filling in ramikens and topped with crust to make pot pies. They were a HUGE hit. I added a little worcestershire to the second batch of dough and preferred the flavor to the original.

Banana Banana Bread

Delicious! A very moist, dense bread. I followed recipe exactly aside from having to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time. Next time I might sub some applesauce for some butter to cut some calories and fat. I will definately add walnuts, I like some crunch. Overall, a keeper!

Sooooooo good! I substituted 1/2 cup applesauce for 1/2 cup oil. I've made it several times with both fresh and frozen berries. It is wonderful everytime and freezes wonderfully.
