Apple Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
My husband and 7 year old daughter couldn't get enough of these squares! I doubled the recipe...next time I'll double everything but the sugar and cinnamon on the top as it was too much. I think I'll even add extra apple as well. This is a keeper!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I used milk chocolate chips because my kids don't really enjoy semi sweet chocolate. They turned out awesome. I will be making these as a treat often! Thanks for the recipe!

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
Awesome flavor! I did change a couple of things though. I had taken out chicken for supper so I thought that I'd use this recipe but change it up abit. I pounded the chicken flat and marinated them in the steak seasoning, oive oil, and vinegar mixture for 3 hours. I then broiled them for 12 minutes. They turned out awesome. They were super moist and just delicious! I plan on adding cajun seasoning next time I use it for chicken. I'm planning on making a pork roast this week and I will be using this marinade...it has an awesome flavor! Thanks so much Melissa for this one!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
These are fantastic cookies!! The whole family loves them...including a 2 and 5 year old. I did do a few things differently; I used a cup of whole wheat flour and 1 1/4 cup of all purpose, I added some cinnamon to the sugar when I rolled them and I also put the dough in the freezer before I rolled them into balls. When I pressed them with a fork they baked out really flat so I just used my fingers to flatten them a little bit and they turned out perfectly! This is a keeper! Thanks so much.

Yummy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
Really good recipe! The husband and kids really enjoyed it. I did make a couple of changes. I browned the chops in olive oil, put onions on the bottom of a 8x8 pan, placed chops on top of the onions, added some minced garlic to the sauce, baked in the oven for 20 mins at 350C uncovered, and added some cornstarch the last 5 minutes of baking to thicken the sauce. Served with rice and broccoli and cheese. We had alot of leftover sauce so I think next time I will half the sauce. Thanks so much for sharing this fab recipe!

Excellent as written! No need to change anything except for making extra sauce for rice. My 7 year old dipped her pork chop into the extra sauce.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
My husband really enjoyed it. It was abit rich for my taste but I'm sure it's because I made 1 pie, used a block of cream cheese, a small tub of cool whip, and 1 cup of peanut butter and no milk. I think next time I'll make 2 and add the milk and it won't be quite as rich. But it was still really good.

Laura's Lemon Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
Love these potatoes! They're tangy from the lemon juice but so creamy. I made these in the oven and on the grill. I think they lose some of the lemon flavor and are abit crispier as well; still good but much better in the oven!

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
We really enjoyed this recipe! I used chili powder instead of chipotle and halved it. I also halved the salt. I baked this in the oven at 350 F for 50 minutes and it was a little on the dry side so I think 40 minutes would of been plenty but it still tasted great! This one is a keeper!
