Chili Rick's

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
I've made this recipe four times in one month. It's that great. I halved the recipe because it was just me an my husband. I read the other reviews and made a couple of changes the second and third time around. I used fire roasted tomatoes, added a jalapano for an extra kick, used Sweet Baby Ray's Brown Sugar Hickory BBQ sauce because I couldn't find the other kind suggested. I also omitted the brown sugar just because I thought it was too sweet. I followed the directions and threw it all in a slow cooker for a couple of hours. It was fantastic each and every time. My in-laws couldn't say enough about it. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
A friend requested zucchini bread for her birthday instead of a cake. I've never eaten or made zucchini bread before. After reading all the reviews, I gave this recipe a tried because I had all the ingredients on hand. It turned out wonderfully. I made two batches and the second batch I added 1/2 C of raisins (soaked in hot water for 5 mintues) and 1/2 C brown sugar and 1/4 C of white sugar. I also crusted the top as suggested by the other viewers. It turned out even better. I will definately use this recipe in the future!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
This is the perfect oatmeal raisin recipe. With oatmeal cookies I tend to overbake it or it looks like mush instead of oatmeal. The first time I follow the recipe to the T with the suggestion of soaking the raisins in warm water for 10 mins. The second time I added 1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper for an extra kick, half a package of vanilla instant pudding, and used all butter. It turned out great. Yummy!

Best Brownies

I tend to like brownies that are more chewy and fudge-like. This was like a chocolate cake. It tasted great, just not a fan of the texture.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
This was such an easy recipe. And the best part is that I already had all the ingredients in my pantry. My husband had it as a midnight snack and he woke me up to tell me it was "off the hook."
