Irresistible Raspberry Buttermilk Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2015
i also, started making these before reading all the reviews. i noticed the flour mixture never got to pea sized, and i had to add extra buttermilk to form a dough. holy sweetness batman! although this is delicious, its definatly over-sweet. i would definatly cut down on the sugar, by at least HALF! NO JOKE! when i had my first bowl, i had with vanilla ice cream, and without the ice cream to mellow out the sugar, it would have been too much. i am freezing the juice/berry mixture for pancakes & ice creams for a later date. i would definately make again, but tweak the recipe.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
Very easy, very tasty recipe. Chicken was tender and juicy. I baked the chicken in the marinade for 45 minutes. Then i moved the chicken to a foil lined, and sprayed pan to broil 5 minutes per side and it crisped the skin right up. Will definitely make again!

Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
made this dip for my sons party. it was good, but i could taste the mayo, which isnt a good taste when thinking mexican dip. like i said, it was good, but ill look for an alternative to the mayo concoction.

Flavorful Flounder

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
the sauce/baste is very tasty. for some reason my flounder fell completely apart and was mush, but....still tasted great. will try with different types of fish.

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
Let me say, this soup is good. When I search on here for a recipe to make, I make my decision by reading the reviews and comments of other members. I look for their reactions and whether they stuck to the original recipe or not. After scouring all over the net for a Tomato Basil Soup recipe, I chose this one based on the simplicity and quickness the recipe had to offer. I followed the recipe to the T, with the exception that I added slightly more sugar. The end result, a very good soup, but to me, seemed to be missing something. I dont have much experience with Tomato Soups, so I cant pinpoint what its missing. I recommend this recipe to all mothers, to make this soup for your kids, as they would love it with some saltine crackers. I know when my son gets home from school, he'll love this. My opinion, this recipe is between a 3 and 4 stars-its good, but average.

Paprika Pork Roast

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
i bought the wrong cut of pork for what i really wanted to make, so i needed a recipe for a loin roast. i chose this one, it was simple and i had the ingredients on hand. overall, it was fine. im not a huge fan of pork roast or pork chops, but this was fine. it tasted good and was moist. ended up as a nice save on a messed up shopping buy.
