Brilliant Sauteed Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
This is my new favorite broccoli recipe! I add chopped onion (red or white, both great) before adding broccoli. The spicy/sweet combo works so well, while the parmesan adds a nice texture.

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
By far the best recipe I have tried for deviled eggs! I add 2 tbs of diced dill pickle for a little crunch, and always change up my mustard (half yellow/half deli) to whatever i have on hand.

I can not believe I made this!! It is soo delicious!! Cooked it in Crock Pot on high for 4ish hrs. Added green salsa and onion soup mix packet to sauteed onions and peppers, then broth, japs and cilantro. So flavorFULL! Can't wait to use left overs in the morning with scrambled eggs!

Super Grouper

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
We doubled the seasonings (will triple in future), and only used 1/4 cup of butter, and will use LESS next time. I like butter and this fish was SO juicy with butter, it kind of shielded the flavor of seasonings. Still...very good! Will make again.

Tuna Curry in a Hurry

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Really tasty! Made a few changes based on what I had on hand. 1tbs of butter, 1tbs olive oil to sautee onion and bell pepper. I didn't have any fresh garlic on hand so I added 1/4t. garlic powder with other seasonings. I also didn't have any sour cream or yogurt, so I subbed 1.5 ounces of cream cheese and 1/4c. milk. Added seasonings: 2t. curry, 1t. cumin, few shakes of cayenne, salt, and pepper. Used 12oz of tuna (big can). DE-LICIOUS!!! Came out way better than I expected because of my substitutions. Mine wasn't "creamy", but was spicy and very tasty.

Chicken Noodle Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
Sweet and Spicy - is the way I made it. It was declicious. I used coconut oil instead of veg, since it is so much better for you. Added a clove of garlic and about the same of ginger, sliced up with chicken. Used 1/2 c. chicken broth & about 1 tbs. of cornstarch instead of seasoning packet (as others had mentioned). Finally, added about 1-1/5 t. of sriracha (rooster chile sauce) and a few shakes of red pepper. Was still a little sweet for my taste, but definitely a perfect mixture of sweet and then spicy. Will def make again!

Chef John's Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2012
This is by far the best I've tried yet. And its beautiful red and green compliments the holidays nicely! I used white vinegar instead of rice (all i had) and a little more Sriracha. I candied a red sweet pepper (all i could find) and even though i missed the bite from a jap, these still worked wonderfully both visually and tastefully! These were AMAZING!! Thanks Chef John! Making Stuffed Peppers tonight!

Accidental Fish

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2012
This was delicious!!! I used 3 tilapia fillets, rubbed with olive oil, salt and peppered both sides. Squeezed 1/4 lemon over fish before baking as i didn't have any lemon pepper seasoning. Used all the butter the recipe calls for and thought it was perfect to pour on top of fish served on a bed of white rice. Didn't have the roma, squeezed 1/2 lemon in butter and an extra dash of Louisi hot sauce. squeezed remaining lemon over fish before adding lemon butter sauce. DE-LISH!!! I will be cooking fish more often.

New to using quinoa ("keen-wa"), i decided to start with this recipe. i had everything on hand. It was simple and delicious. I kept adding more as garnish for each bowl because it tasted so great! thank you traderjoe's. keeping this recipe on hand for easy and amazing dishes.

Cream Cheesy Cubed Zucchini with Lemon and Oregano

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
I was looking for an alternative to pasta and this really hit the spot! Makes 4 cups and I devoured that for my meal (w/the help of my hungry 1 year old). Will definitely double recipe next time to have some left overs or share! (Substituted trader joe's 21Salute seasoning in place of oregano.)
