Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Scones

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
Very easy & delish. I used almonds instead of hazelnuts bc it's what I had on hand & vanilla extract instead of almond extract since I also didn't have any almond extract.

Basil Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Didn't add any butter at the end. Sauteed onions and garlic first and added to the soup when basil and sugar were added. Used 3/4 a cup of half and half and 1/4 cup skim milk.

Scones

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
I made these according to the directions, but did the egg & milk measuring cup trick that other reviewers talked about. I also added a little vanilla and fresh strawberries too...so delish! I will be making these again experimenting with other extra ingredients :)

Awesome Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
I use mini bow tie pasta and soak canned diced tomatoes overnight in balsamic vinegar the night before I make the actual salad. Then add fresh basil (instead of green onion), lots of feta, olive oil, and more balsamic. This salad is also better if it cures for 2 or 3 days before served. If anyone has be to Zoës Kitchen in Birmingham or Atlanta - this pasta salad is very similar. I give it only 4 stars bc the way it's written it isn't that great, but with these modifications it is a winner :)

Ocean Spray® Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
I added a little extra brown sugar (which they needed) and added ground flax meal to make up for the dryness that others commented on. Also added cinnamon, vanilla, and semi sweet chocolate chips. They were good after my additions!

Dill Wrapped Cream Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
I didn't prepare them as the recipe states...I mixed the cream cheese and dill together then spread on 2 packages of cresent rolls that had been flattened and seems pinched together. Then roll it up, starting with the longest edge (into kind of a long log shape) then slice into bite size strips and bake

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
I used 2 cans of lower sodium soup and it still had too much salt for my taste. My boyfriend really liked it though...I'm just not a huge stroganoff fan. I also added 1/2 a packet of onion soup so that probably added more salt as well

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
This lasagna was soooooooo good! I think I will use the sauce part of the recipe to make sauce for all of the Italian dishes. I doubled the ricotta & soaked the noodles in hot water until tender (instead of boiling them), but otherwise it is perfect!
