yum! if you can make it with fresh pumpkin it really makes a difference. but either way its a really good recipe. i dont normally like pumpkin pie but i really enjoyed these

Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts

everyone in my family loved this recipe! i had just a few alterations: I marinated the chicken almost 24 hours in advance because i find it more conveniant to start it the night b4. i only cooked the chicken for 25 miinutes and i think i could have taken it out at 20 because it was already just a tad dry next time will cook on a slightly lower setting. But It was extreamly flavorful and delicious. although, i do agree with some of the other reviewers that not all the spices are needed because the vinager takes over the flavor. but I could taste the spicier flavors (such as the crushed pepper and chili powder) and they gave it a little kick so I would definitely keep those in. I might do without some of the other spices in the future though to keep the cost down. will for sure be making this again! Its a keeper.

it was ok. I think it would have been better with a little milk instead of the broth. It wasnt creamy at all. I liked the spices in it though.

Tarragon Green Beans

Delicious! They were perfectly cooked. I didnt have green peppers so I used a few orange bell peppers Instead. It was delicious. No leftovers for these veggies. Even my husband who hates green beans and onions ate them and said they were good. He didnt take seconds but the fact he ate them at all was a big deal.

Guluptsie (Cabbage Rolls)

I will definitely be making this again!!! Because some of the other reviewers said it came out bland, I did add some spices to the meat mixture as well as the can of V8 others suggested. I put in Basil, Rosemary and a little extra dill weed. I also omitted the extra 1 1/2 pounds ground beef and was able to squeeze it all in one pan. I didn’t have veal and didn’t want to completely overwhelm the pork flavor with too much beef. My husband loved the way it came out. I was looking for a Sarmale recipe because he is from Romania but this came pretty close. The cabbage just isn’t as salty as Sarmale but the meat was delicious. oh, one more thing! I would recommend serving with a dollop of sour cream. It really adds to the flavor.

Garlic Corn on the Cob

it was ok but i just really wasn't into the garlic on the corn. I tried both regular garlic and garlic powder. I liked that I could use it in the oven and it cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of crunch but next time ill probably just use regular salt and butter instead of the garlic.

Easy Peach Crisp II

really good. loved the topping. I added a sprinkling of brown sugar and cinnamon to the peaches to hide the fact they were not ripe. I also had a problem with the crumb topping not browning even after 45 minutes so i put the broiler on low for a few minutes. (placing the cobbler at least 5 or 6 inches away from the flame) and that made it crisp perfectly. It was a big hit with my family.
