Warm Mushroom Spread

I used olive oil (in addition to the butter) to saute the m&o. I added garlic powder during the saute (b/c I meant to add real garlic and forgot). I only used about 1/2 a cup of sour cream based on the reviews of others (and I probably could have done a little less than that even). While I seasoned the m&o during the saute portion, found that it needed more so I put out the salt & pepper shakers for my guests. Finally, I served it with fresh italian bread, sliced, with a drizzle of olive oil, toasted in the oven during the last 5 or so minutes of cooking. It was very tasty.

Party Pinwheels

The prep takes time, but they are quite yummy when they are done and appeal to a wide audience as well since they are vegetarian friendly. One thing I do different - I use colby jack cheese instead of (or in addition to) the cheddar cheese.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

So fast and easy that i had it fully assembled by the time the oven was done preheating, which is a first for me! I halved the soup, sour cream and cheddar jack cheese. I used one thick slice of Nueske's ham from the deli, with the weird parts cut out. I used about a half of a bag of potatoes o'briens. After mixing everything together, I put in greased, square casserole dish. I sprinkled parm on top (not any particular amount) and then sprinkled additional cheddar jack on top of that. Yum! And the husband enjoyed it too!
