Chicken Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2010
Great recipe... I made some recommended adjustments only 1/2 cup of milk and 3 eggs instead of two. I also did a 1/2 cup of purple onion 1 cup of finely chopped fresh mushrooms , 4 cheeses including cheddar, swiss, pepperjack and topped with a light sprinkling of freshly grated Parmesan. I also use all of the 16 oz of spinach- using the rest on top of the pie. (see pic) YUMMY!

Like I always share ..I'm a novice cook and this was soo easy and tasty. I added the drizzle shared by other reviewers. THe only down side was my Mom (whom I was cooking for) never told me she didn't like sweet fish recipes... (sigh) all other reviews were thumbs up!

Spicy Sweet Potato Chips

Great recipe ...I liked the kick of Cayenne with the sweet. BY THE WAY...if you find that you've cut up all your sweet potatoes and discover you have no maple syrup as the recipe calls for... USE REGULAR pancake syrup like I did. (I also added cinnamon and nutmeg)

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
I'm a novice cook and I fixed this tonight for my housemates (one of whom is as good a cook as any chef) They loved it and it was sooo easy! I made similar substitutions, 1/2 ketchup 1/2 -an Onion/Pepper BBQ sauce, some lime juice, worsteshire sauce (sp?) and Tobasco sauce. I didn't flour the chops, but I did brown them in olive oil and added onions and a lil corn starch to thicken up the sauce. Served with brown rice.. yum! Thanks for the recipe!
